"I signed up for the 'Focus on JLPT' course in autumn 2011 and found it incredibly useful for the JLPT N5 exam in December. I had done general Japanese classes in the past but what you need for JLPT is to go through all of the points that can be tested in the exam • especially the grammar. The tutor will draw your attention to specific grammar points that come up year after year, turning marks that you might well have missed into marks that you can be confident of getting. You can also do practice exams which are particularly important for the listening section which has a technique that is best to be familiar with in advance.
