YU JLS specialises in providing Japanese-language courses for various levels from beginners through to advanced. We offer weekly evening courses in Clifton (See Venue), where classes are conducted in a relaxed and informal atmosphere, so that you can improve your language skills while having some fun too.
Our Teachers
All our teachers are qualified and experienced in teaching Japanese as a foreign language at both schools and universities.
Courses
Most of our courses last 30 weeks, and are split into 3 terms – autumn, spring and summer – starting in September, January and April respectively (See Courses). Best of all, the fee for one term is a highly reasonable £135.00!

One-to-One Tuition
We can also offer one-to-one tuition for those requiring more tailored or targeted learning such as JLPT and GCSE qualifications and the rates we would charge for such sessions can be discussed on application, dependent on the specific requirements.
