Intermediate 2

Continuation of B1-1.

By the end of this stage of the course, a learner:

• will be able to understand the main points of clear standard input on familiar matters regularly encountered at work, school, or in leisure time, etc.
• will take in their stride most situations likely to arise whilst travelling in an area where the language is spoken
• can produce simple connected text on topics which are familiar and of personal interest.

By now, a learner will be on the verge of being able to engage in free-flowing conversation with native speakers in a relaxed, spontaneous manner, a major facet of studying at Level B2.
