Continuation of A1-1.

Now a learner is able to start recognising and writing in hiragana and katakana.

By the end of this course, a learner will be able to:

• respond and interact in non-scripted situations where their talk-partner speaks slowly and clearly.
• understand very short texts, single phrases at a time, and write simple isolated phrases and sentences such as those written on postcards.
• Kanji will be introduced during this course.
